Hamburg 2020 - ‘Szeneleben’

Hamburg is the second biggest town of Germany with 1,9 million inhabitants.
The development of the old port into a new part of the city (Hafencity) on the banks of the Elbe is in full swing. With the Elbphilharmonie as eyecatcher at one end and the Elbtower (to be completed in 2025) at the other end.
To our surprise Hamburg has a lot of old neighborhoods with hip, lively, alternative scene. With old transformed industrial buildings, with working spaces, restaurants and shops. Lively/’Szene’ neighborhoods in Hamburg are St. Georg, Schanzenviertel en Karolinenviertel, St. Pauli, Ottensen and Altona.
